There are many beautiful crystals right here in the Bronx! We come across a lot of these crystals when we are hiking in Van Cortlandt Park. Working with crystals helps us to engage with the natural Earth energy to nourish our strengths and release what does not serve us. Crystals are a healing tool. Tools which help us to restore balance, and elevate consciousness. They can be used in many ways to address various challenges. 1. Smoky Quartz is a powerfully grounding and clearing stone. It activates and opens the root chakra, and clears the aura and energetic systems. It absorbs negativity by grounding it in the Earth. 2. Citrine is a sun stone, a member of the quartz family and can range in hue from pale yellow to almost orange - and some may have brownish tinges. To make speaking with those in authority a little easier. This crystal is about boosting self-confidence. It helps get rid of negative self-image. 3. Milky Quartz is a moon stone that helps to speed recovery if you are feeling under par. It also creates a harmonious atmosphere when in a social gathering. It is a problem solver for excessive worry pertaining to illness or feeling unwell and not your best. Traditionally in chronic illnesses where a patient cannot take solid food, this crystal has a reputation for promoting swift recovery and steady recuperation. It was also worn by mothers to promote lactation.

4. Clear Quartz is a great multi-purpose stone that addresses all chakras, but it is especially useful for healing the crown chakra.
