What is Fire Cider?

What I love about making Fire Cider is that a lot of the ingredients are practical and can be easily found in the kitchen or local supermarkets. These foods have been around for centuries and are still just as mind-blowing today as they were back then. For example:

Turmeric is one of the best spices out there. This orange miracle of a spice is great for your brain, and reducing inflammation.

Ginger is turmeric’s close cousin. Ginger has anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. It is a favorite for helping to soothe digestion, and reduce nausea.

Onions contain anti-oxidants that lowers bad cholesterol levels and heart disease risk. Onions also protect against blood clots - which can be very scary.

Garlic is the world’s healthiest food and highly nutritious with very few calories. Garlic keeps your friendly bacteria alive and is powerful against many diseases. It is even known to increase athletic performance.

Red Peppers give Fire Cider its heat and packs a mean punch with 200% Vitamin C!
