Winter 2012 - Thailand was a monumental trip for Dee and Noble Dre* Ali! They travelled Thailand for 3 weeks visiting 3 major cities: Chiang Mai, Bangkok and Koh Samui. When traveling to Thailand it can appear to some like it is an expensive place to visit but the most expensive part of the trip is airfare. Once you get here, it’s so cheap cheap cheap! Hour massages for $5, yummy street food for $1; Thailand is a place where you can spoil yourself rotten! Known for tropical beaches, opulent royal palaces, ancient ruins and ornate temples displaying figures of Buddha - Thailand has something for everyone.

Thai people bow to show respect and use the word "Sawasdee khrap/kha" meaning in Thai "Hello" for greeting each other.

Temples in Thailand are free admission. The temples are great to explore and come to meditate.

There are so many beautiful Buddhas here in Thailand.

Thai Tattoos!

Day one in Chiang Mai Dee and Noble Dre* Ali got tatted “Blessed” in Thai along with a lotus flower. This was unique in that the tattoo artist did this free hand (without drawing the image). The tattoo artist name was Kang. It was a vibe!

Hair Cut in Chiang Mai

The barber was very excited to cut Dee’s hair and work with a different texture of hair. She quickly kicked her client out of the chair to take Dee and put her ahead of him!

Fish Spa

These small fish help to remove all the dead skin on your feet. Warning: it is VERY ticklish!

Elephant Sanctuary in Chiang Mai

The elephant reserve in Chiang Mai had a track record of sustainable and ethical treatment. We fed the elephants and even rode bareback when no other baskets were available. It was an amazing experience seeing the elephants being cared for and protected.

Tiger Kingdom

Giving the tigers of Thailand some love. Here you will have wonderful interaction with young to giant tigers. It was unforgettable scary yet safe caressing on majestic animals and it is an opportunity to contribute to their protection.
